TIFTON, Ga., Dec. 11, 2013 – The Construction Suppliers Association, a regional building material trade association with member companies in Alabama and Georgia, recently announced its 2014 board of directors. Among those named is Tahl Barrett, chief financial officer of Short & Paulk Supply Company in Tifton.
Employed by Short & Paulk since 2000, Barrett has a longstanding relationship with CSA. He’s held a position on CSA’s Self Insured Fund board of trustees since 2006 and participates in several peer-to-peer roundtables.
CSA president, Jim Moody, recently acknowledged Barrett’s contributions by stating, “Tahl is recognized as one of the most competent finance experts in our industry. Having him serve on our board gives us expertise to help us make wise decisions as the housing market improves over the next few years. Tahl has served on several task forces in the past, and his contributions were so meaningful that it was an easy decision to move him onto our board.”
Created in 1936, CSA serves as the voice of its members to state and federal government. Committed to building strong independent dealers, CSA also provides a wide range of educational and cost-saving programs to businesses in the building materials industry.
In existence since 1941, Short & Paulk Supply Company provides lumber, hardware and building materials for residential and commercial construction projects throughout South Georgia. Locations include Albany, Dawson, Sylvester and Tifton.
